Effective January 1, 2020, the Illinois Workplace Transparency Act (WTA) created several new expectations for Illinois employers to combat harassment in the workplace. The law amends definitions and training requirements under the Illinois Human Rights Act, adds annual disclosure requirements, and limits what may be contained in an employee employment contract, settlement agreement, or termination agreement. This webinar provides an overview of these topics, reviews the updated requirements for your district’s anti-harassment policy, and summarizes the components of the State’s model sexual harassment prevention training program.
