Illinois Association of Fire Protection Districts
In today’s climate, where there is sometimes less funding and more need, it’s important to know how to increase your organization’s chances of securing grants. You won’t want to miss the opportunity to benefit from Steven Spraker‘s 15 years and more than 20 million dollars experience in securing grants for fire departments. He will share his knowledge of the AFG (Assistance to Firefighters Grant) application process; including tips for developing a winning narrative, filling out the application and updates to the AFG scoring method. Equally important, you will learn some of the common mistakes made when filling out the AFG application, and where to look for other potential funding sources outside of the AFG.
